Site Updates: Archives, License, et cetera

I’ve finally added functionality for navigating the archives. See for instance my posts from August last year. You can navigate month by month using the arrows in the upper right corner (or using the navigation links at the end of the page). The monthly archives are sorted chronologically (ascending), which I think is the most intuitive.

Also, I’ve switched Creative Commons license to the Attribution – Non Commercial – Share Alike one. This means that you can copy, distribute, and display (aggregate, for instance) my posts, providing that you state the source, that you don’t do it for profit. And if you make derivative works, you’ll have to release it under the same license.

I used to go with the Attribution license, that is “do anything but make sure you give me credit.” Sometimes I post things that might not be fit for publishing, but which could be after a little editorial work. I don’t know how likely it is that someone would (legally) take something from me and publish it, but the new license shouldn’t limit the kind of use I’ve been subjected to up until now.

And I’ve done some minor tweaks and fixes. Thanks to David for pointing out a bug.
